Our Gold Service offers back up for landlords and tenants within office hours, to assist in the organisation of tradesmen, liaise with landlord/tenant on any matter and organise quotes for work needed etc. acting upon the landlord’s instruction.
Cobb Farr have introduced a new fee structure for our Standard Tenant Find Service, or our Gold Service which includes back up for landlords and tenants. Our Tenant Fees and Renewal Fees are also very competitive. For a breakdown of all fees go to Landlord Information and Tenant Information.
Deposit Protection Scheme
All deposits are protected through Mydeposits, a government-authorised scheme designed for landlords, letting agents and tenants. This ensures compliance with deposit legislation introduced in April 2007.
As part of our finding service, we will carry out thorough checks on your new tenants. All viewings are accompanied, and prospective tenants are interviewed. We also manage the process of securing and verifying references.
If required, we can arrange for inventories to be carried out on your behalf by a specialist company, at an additional cost. They can also organise check-in and check-out property inspections.
Client Money Protection
Cobb Farr are covered by a Lloyds Insurance client money protection scheme which gives landlords and tenants confidence that their money is safe when it is being handled by an agent. Where an agent is a member of a client money protection scheme, it enables a tenant, landlord or both to be compensated if all or part of their money is not repaid.
Jenny Draper Lettings Manager
Jenny is our Lettings Manager, based in the Bath office, and with 40 years’ experience of living in the city is well placed to deal with all Cobb Farr’s rental business. A former partner in a local building company for 25 years gives Jenny a good background knowledge when dealing with property and landlord/tenant expectations.
